Résidence du Couvent

Your health is at the heart of our priorities
The Résidence du Couvent is a private residence for independent seniors of all ages looking for peace of mind. Meals, housekeeping, medical care, various activities; everything is included when they choose this community with strong family values. Enabling residents to maintain their autonomy for as long as possible is also an important priority for the team, thanks to a living environment where their empowerment is encouraged.
La Résidence du Couvent is a family business where the new shareholders, Florie and Olivier Ouellet, aged 21 and 26, have literally grown up, accompanying their father who owned it for more than 25 years and their mother who held the position of general manager.
About twenty employees ensure the good care and services offered to residents, just like Florie and Olivier who know by name and their history the hundred residents who share their daily lives. Everyone feels at home and this is one of the missions that the two new shareholders have given themselves.
The name Residence du Couvent is a tribute to the past of its historical managers, the nuns of the Congrégation des Sœurs de Notre-Dame, who settled in Victoriaville in the 1880s. While the new owners aim to maintain the historical significance of the building, they have also introduced a refreshing change that is widely appreciated.
The arrival of the next generation in the equation will have allowed the company to evolve greatly, in particular with the restructuring in most departments to replace certain obsolete ways of doing things with up-to-date methods. Renovations to ensure the sustainability of the building were also carried out.
As managers, Florie and Olivier have the vision of making the Résidence du Couvent the place of choice in Victoriaville to spend your old age in complete peace of mind.
